| Ways to help | Breakfast TeamEvery sunday morning the very dedicated Kimberly Jordan prepares breakfast for the many children who attend our Sunday school program. As we have been changing the way the kids get breakfast we have come to realize it would be of great bennefit to have a few extra hands. If you can scramble some eggs, butter some toast, or even just pass out food that has been been prepared with a cheerful greeting we are looking for you.Sunday Morning GreetersWe are looking for a few cheery faces that can help to greet and direct both older members and brand new visitors Sunday morning before either service. We are planning on adding a greeting table at the doors and providing information at this table regarding areas to serve, open groups, our children's ministry, and any upcoming events.Children's Ministry WorkersWe are always in need of more people in our children's ministry. Two rooms in particular that could use some new help are our 0-2 room which typically consists of 2-3 little ones and our preschool room of 3-5 year olds.Sunday Morning AnnoucementsWe are looking for a someone, or a few someones, who would be willing to make important announcements at the beginning of both Sunday morning services. These announcments would entail anything from upcoming gatherings, to baby showers, to reinforcing how to get involved, and who to contact to do that. You will be speaking in front of the church with a microphone, so if public speaking is something you enjoy, we have the job for you. |
