Our mission

Our mission is to improve the lives of our clients and our community. We work to heal their mind and body, to inspire and to provide excellent service in alcohol and drug addiction treatment, primary healthcare, recovery support, case management, behavioral health, vocational development and to be a resource to all members of the community for outreach, prevention, education and advocacy.

Items we need

Mothers Care Closet Items Needed

Our Mothers Care Closet is a Stepping Stones aftercare program for our mothers that have successfully completed treatment. This program helps aid mothers in early recovery with the opportunity to earn child care products for showing initiative in their program.

The Care Closet is stocked through gifts and donations from all of you, in our generous community!
We welcome new and gently used items including toys, bottles, diapers, and clothes for children between the ages of 0–12 years old.

About us

The Counseling Center, Inc. was formed in 1980 as an outpatient behavioral health and addiction treatment office under the direction of Rembert Glass. The Counseling Center offers a wide range of services to help individuals with substance abuse, mental health, and physical health. Working in the community, educating, advocating, fundraising and connecting people to services- we are always working on recovery.
