St Patrick’s Day Parade cancelled

It is with great disappointment the 7 Nations Celtic Club of Southern Ohio must announce, in compliance with Governor DeWine’s Executive Order, the cancellation of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade scheduled this Saturday.

For the past 13 years, the Celtic Club has brought this festive celebration to the people of Portsmouth and Scioto County. While the members of the club have always enjoyed great fun hosting and organizing this celebration if Irishness, they first realize that it is fir the people this event it given. But everyone knows, this year is different.

The uncertainty of conditions requires abundant caution and the Governor has made his decision. However, the 7 Nations Celtic Club wants the people to note it is ☘️POSTPONING☘️ the parade. This year will not pass without a St. Patrick’s Day Parade at some date.

For you who have purchased tickets for the raffle basket drawing, hang on to them and even feel free to buy more if you desire.

For you sponsors who have paid and participants who anticipated in being in the parade, you will not lose your investment or spot in the parade. There will be a parade! ☘️☘️☘️

It is with great sadness the club makes its decision to change plan. But rest easy. The Irish are coming before the frost sets on the shamrock.
